ConnectIQ vs Allsorter: One of Us Publishes a Price

Allsorter is one of the best-known names in agency CV formatting, and the hardest to compare with anything, because it does not publish a price. We read allsorter.com/pricing on 29 August 2026: both tiers say Request Quote. This page sets out what can be verified without a sales call, what cannot, and the kind of agency each product actually suits. We have deliberately not repeated the per-seat figures that circulate on rival blogs, because we could not confirm them at source.

What Allsorter's pricing page actually says

There are two tiers. Elite is described for teams of five or more and as a standard package inclusive of the AI Productivity Suite, priced per month with a discount offered on annual sign-ups. Enterprise is described as being for larger teams needing more features and support, with custom plans available on request.

Neither tier carries a number. Both carry a Request Quote button. The only quantitative commitment on the page is the stated minimum of five or more team members on Elite.

This matters more than it looks. You cannot work out a cost per CV, you cannot compare it with anything else in the category, and you cannot budget for it, without first entering a sales process. Several competitor blogs publish specific per-seat figures for Allsorter; we could not verify any of them on Allsorter's own page, so they are not repeated here.

Where Allsorter is the better choice

Quote-gating is a legitimate way to sell enterprise software, and it usually comes with things a self-serve product does not have. Allsorter has the largest stated customer base among the tools in this category, and a Bullhorn integration that fits how established staffing agencies already work.

ConnectIQ has no CRM integration at all today. Bullhorn, JobAdder and Vincere are on our roadmap and are not built. For an agency whose consultants work inside Bullhorn all day, that is not a detail — it is the deciding factor, and it points at Allsorter rather than at us.

A large agency with a procurement process, a security review and a need for negotiated terms is also better served by a vendor who sells that way. We do not have an enterprise sales motion, and a five-seat minimum is not a barrier to a firm with two hundred consultants.

  • Bullhorn integration: Allsorter has one, ConnectIQ does not
  • Largest stated customer base in the category: Allsorter
  • Enterprise procurement, negotiated terms and formal onboarding: Allsorter
  • Published, checkable pricing: ConnectIQ
  • Usable by a single recruiter or a team of three: ConnectIQ
  • A finished export before any commitment: ConnectIQ

Where the quote-only model costs you something

If you are a small or mid-sized agency, the five-seat minimum and the sales conversation are a real cost before you have learned anything about the product. You cannot benchmark Allsorter against a per-CV budget you already have, because the number that would let you do that is not public.

ConnectIQ's position is the inverse, and it is a deliberate one. Every price is on the pricing page: free for one lifetime conversion, £5 a month for ten, £15 for a hundred, £29 for two hundred and fifty, £89 for a thousand. Annual billing is two months free. There is no per-template setup fee, no charge for editing a template you already have, and no auto-renewing trial that quietly becomes a subscription.

That transparency is not generosity, it is a positioning choice: it is the thing a smaller agency can act on without a meeting, and it is the reason this page can exist at all.

What you should ask Allsorter on the call

If Allsorter is on your shortlist — and for a Bullhorn-centred agency it should be — the quote conversation is the moment to extract the numbers the website does not give you. These are the questions that make the quote comparable with anything else.

Ask for the figures rather than the reassurance, and ask for the per-CV number specifically. Every vendor in this category can quote a monthly price; far fewer will divide it by the documents you will actually produce.

  • What is the monthly price at our seat count, and what does it include?
  • What is the CV or candidate allowance, and is it monthly or annual?
  • What is the cost per CV at our real volume, not the top tier's?
  • What happens when we exceed the allowance — overage rate or hard stop?
  • Are seats charged individually, and what does adding one mid-term cost?
  • Is there a setup fee for templates, and what does changing one later cost?
  • How long is the minimum term, and what is the annual discount in percent?
  • Can we run our own CVs through before signing, and how many?

The honest summary

Allsorter is an established enterprise product with the integration most large staffing firms need and a customer base to match. If you are that buyer, the absence of a public price is an inconvenience rather than a problem, and you should take the call.

If you are a smaller agency that wants to know the cost before the conversation, run a candidate's CV through ConnectIQ's free conversion and compare the output with the quote when it arrives. Both take less time than a discovery call, and one of them tells you what the tool does to your own documents.

Frequently asked questions

How much does Allsorter cost?

Allsorter does not publish a price. Its pricing page offers two tiers — Elite, for teams of five or more, described as priced per month with a discount on annual sign-ups, and Enterprise for larger teams — and both require a quote request. Per-seat figures published elsewhere could not be verified against Allsorter's own page, so we do not repeat them. Read 29 August 2026.

Does Allsorter have a minimum team size?

Its pricing page states that the Elite tier is for teams of five or more. ConnectIQ has no seat minimum; paid plans from Starter upward include unlimited seats, and a single recruiter can use it.

Is ConnectIQ an alternative to Allsorter?

For a small or mid-sized agency that wants published pricing, self-serve templates and a free conversion before committing, yes. For an agency that needs a Bullhorn integration or an enterprise onboarding and support relationship, no — ConnectIQ has neither today, and Allsorter has both.

Does ConnectIQ integrate with Bullhorn?

Not today. Bullhorn, JobAdder and Vincere integrations are on the roadmap and are not built. If your workflow depends on the formatting step happening inside your CRM, Allsorter is the better fit right now.
