Data processing terms

Our Article 28 commitments as your processor for candidate personal data. These form part of the terms of service, so no separate signature is needed.

The processing

Subject matter: formatting candidate CVs into your branded documents. Types of personal data: whatever a CV contains, including any special category data the candidate chose to include. Categories of data subject: candidates whose CVs you upload, and your own staff who use the service.

Our obligations

We process only on your documented instructions, bind everyone with access to confidentiality, impose equivalent obligations on sub-processors and remain liable for them, assist with candidate rights requests and breach notification, and delete or return your data when the service ends.

International transfers

Application data is stored in London. AI processing sends CV text to Google's Gemini API, which may run outside the UK. Each provider's own data processing terms apply automatically to API use, which is how our Article 28 obligations flow down to them. If no candidate data may leave the UK at all, run at Format-only intensity — that mode makes no AI call.
